Shipping Policy
Orders are shipped FOB Janesville, WI, or factory, at the discretion of Rand Materials Handling Equipment unless otherwise agreed to by Rand Materials Handling Equipment. Need next-day delivery? Ask you Customer Service Representative for details. We prepay and add shipping charges to all orders shipped via truck.
Sales Tax
Rand Materials Handling Equipment is required to charge state and local tax on items sold to Purchasers in Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Connecticut, California, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Iowa and South Carolina for which sales tax exemption certification has not been provided. When ordering, please indicate clearly which items are tax exempt.
Effective Thursday, October 1, LSS and all of its affiliates will begin charging and collecting sales tax for the state of South Carolina. South Carolina's state tax rate is 6% and counties may impose sales tax of 1%. Freight is not taxable.
Claims
We take great care in filling, checking and packing your order. On rare occasions, a package may be damaged or lost in transit. If a truck shipment is damaged, please note the damage on the delivery receipt. Then call us at 1-800-366-2300.
Return Policy
If you're not satisfied with our high quality of products you receive from us, please inform our Customer Service Department. We will issue a Return Authorization number and instructions for refund. Item(s) must be returned within 30 days in the original packaging. Non-stock or used merchandise is subject to restocking fees. Custom items and made-to-order items (i.e. prefabricated buildings, mezzanines, matting, etc.) are not returnable.
Prices
Published prices are in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars. Note: In the rare event of a printing error, Rand Materials Handling Equipment reserves the right to charge the correct price. We also reserve the right to change prices without notice should market commodity conditions unforeseeably change.
Forms of Payment
Payment is required in advance. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, SmartPay accepted. C.O.D. payments not accepted. For your convenience, we also accept electronic personal checks (U.S. banks only).
To pay by credit card: Simply enter your credit card information and billing address at checkout. Your card will not be billed until your order has shipped.
To pay by e-check: Paying by e-check is just as fast and easy as paying by credit card. Simply enter your bank’s routing number (as printed on your check), your account number and the check number to authorize a one-time payment.
Two-Click Buying: Two-click buying is the fastest, easiest way to purchase items from Rand Materials Handling Equipment — simply add an item to your cart, and you’ll be directed to the checkout page! To start using two-click buying, simply store your payment information by clicking the Edit Payment Information link in My Account and select the two-click buying checkbox.
