This pallet rack w/ wire decking - starter bay increases the effectiveness of sprinklers, lighting and air circulation, while cutting down dust and dirt accumulation. These decks are made of strong 4-ga. welded wire with a 2" x 4" open grid design and a reinforced under-channel, (galvanized wire prevents rusting). The pallet racks features an 18,000-lb. capacity and the uprights allow beams to be adjusted on 2" centers. The load beams have a three-stud connection that engages the slots of the uprights and are secured by an automatic safety lock that snaps into place. The uprights are green and the beams are orange.

Selecting the Proper Size

A. Calculate Frame Height: Start with the height of your loaded pallet. Add the height of your shelf beams. Add 4" for each load for vertical clearence. Take that number and multiply it by the number of levels.

B. Calculate Frame Depth: Measure the depth of your pallet and deduct 6". This gives you a 3" overhang from and rear.

C. Calculate Beam Width: Measure the width of two pallets. Add 12" for clearance.
